For those of you that read my previous journal entry, you know that I'll be removing most of my Demotivational Posters.  But have no fear, they have found a new home on tumblr.

This is a new account, and as you can see it's still...bleh, but I'll work on it as I go.

It has been brought to my attention that my Demotivational Posters contain copyrighted material, which most of them do.  Legally, I believe these would be considered a parody and would be allowed under the Fair Use law.

However, Fair Use ≠ DA's Rules.  DA's rules say that if I (or anyone) use copyrighted work, then I would need written permission from the copyright holder to use their work, which I don't have.

Personally, I don't see the point of getting permission when these are just simple one liner posters that anyone can make, so because of that, I've decided that those that contain copyrighted pictures will be removed.

I don't like it, but I understand it, and if I want to continue to be a part of DA, it only makes since that I follow DA's rules.  I will wait about a day or so before I remove them, mostly to give me time to decide where to move them to (off DA that is).  When I decide where, I'll post a link so those that want to, can look at them.
